The London Borough of Ealing is located West of London City Airport a distance of around 20 miles a journey that would take around 50 minutes by taxi via the A13 and A40. It borders the Boroughs of Hillingdon, Harrow, Brent, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow. It is situated in West London and forms part of Outer London, it has a population of 338,400 according to 2011 statistics.

The borough is a densely populated area covering 5.5 km and is known for its ethnic diversity, and also has large numbers of young professionals and office workers that flat share in many of the old sub divided victorian houses. It is a desirable place to live due to its good connections into Central London and has much to offer in the way of pubs, shopping, restaurants and open spaces. There are some popular events such as the Jazz festival at Walpole Park held every summer and is close to the Grand Union Canal that is an ideal place for a scenic walk.

There are many choices for shoppers with some of the most diverse attractions to be found at Southall with an array of saris, spices and indian food shops to choose from while in contrast Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre has a large collection of high street shops and chain stores available. For cultural activities the Questors Theatre is an ideal place to go and is a major community Theatre throughout Europe.
